We had the chance to pitch and share our story at the Innovation UBC Investor Showcase, alongside a room full of inspiring founders, investors, and change-makers.
It was exciting to talk about something that hits close to home: wildfires!
We’re building AI-powered tools that help detect, predict, and respond to wildfires using autonomous aerial vehicles and multispectral sensing. Because when communities are better informed, they’re better protected and when technology moves fast, it can help people move faster, too.
The conversations after our pitch reminded us why we do this.
People asked thoughtful questions, shared ideas, and showed genuine interest in how we’re tackling wildfire resilience from the sky down.
We walked away feeling encouraged, energized, and deeply grateful.
A big thank-you to the folks who made the night (and our journey so far) possible: Innovation UBC, Francis Steiner, Chang Han, Michelle Sklar, Alison Webster, Marie-Helene Lamarre, and many other people.
